GETTING STARTED

Guidance from the very first connection.

Follow this basic flow in the ViewSphere app. Some labels and behaviors may change during the beta service.

Before you beginConnect every device to the same Wi-Fi or local network.

SESSION START

Choose the host role on one device.

Open ViewSphere on the device that will manage sharing and choose Host. When the host dashboard opens, wait for nearby participants.

What does the host do?The host sees connected participants, chooses whose screen to share, and controls when sharing starts and stops.

PARTICIPANT

Connect the remaining devices as participants.

Choosing Participant shows hosts running on the same network. Select the host you want to join.

Can't see the host?Confirm that both devices use the same network, the host session is open, and local-network permission is allowed by the operating system.

START SHARING

The host chooses a participant to share.

Choose a participant on the host dashboard and request screen sharing. Once accepted, the screen is shared and other participants can watch.

Screen permission may be required.Check screen-capture permission on Windows and macOS, recording approval on Android, and the broadcast-start flow on iOS.

FINISH

End sharing safely when you are done.

The host or sharing participant can stop sharing. To finish the session completely, disconnect participants and then leave the host screen.
